첫 캐릭터가 완벽할 필요는 없습니다.
GW2 is an alt-friendly game. After getting comfortable with your first character, you can level up alts much faster using Tomes of Knowledge (instant level-up items) and account-shared equipment.

Race and Profession cannot be changed after character creation. You would need to create a new character. Gender, appearance, and name can be changed with in-game items.

Sylvari awaken as adults from the Pale Tree — a giant tree on the Tarnished Coast — already possessing basic knowledge from the Dream. 나중에 성별을 변경하고 싶다면 Total Makeover Kit을 Gem Store에서 구매하면 됩니다. 성별, 외형, 피부색, 헤어스타일 등을 모두 변경할 수 있습니다. 이름 변경은 별도의 Name Change Contract로 가능합니다.
If you want to change gender later, purchase a Total Makeover Kit from the Gem Store. It allows you to change gender, appearance, skin color, hairstyle, and more. Name changes require a separate Name Change Contract.

총 9개의 직업이 있습니다. Revenant는 HoT·PoF·EoD 중 하나의 확장팩이 필요합니다. 모든 직업은 어느 정도 딜러, 서포터, 생존 역할을 수행할 수 있으며, 전통적인 탱커/힐러/딜러 고정 역할은 없습니다.
There are 9 professions in total. Revenant requires one of HoT, PoF, or EoD expansions. All professions can deal damage, support allies, and sustain themselves to some degree — traditional strict tank/healer/DPS roles don't exist.

Answer 2–3 background questions at the end of creation. These choices affect the first 3 chapters of your Personal Story (levels 1–30). The story converges for all characters after that.
